Submit Applications BEFORE December 31, 2025 to avoid $150 Late Registration Fee

REGISTRATION: Space is limited. Applications for registration are initiated BELOW STARTING OCTOBER 8th Applications (signed by both student and parent along with a deposit check) will be processed and registered in the order received, and a waitlist established as necessary. Participation on the trip is contingent upon students demonstrating appropriate behavior and academic standing.  Students are required to provide a copy of their 10 week report card as evidence of their behavior and maturity.  Please be sure your student has read the Behavior Expectations  on your group’s webpage under the “Schools We Serve” tab.

DEPOSIT:   A deposit of $500.00 will reserve space, if available.  Final statements will be emailed in January and final payments must be received no later than 64 days prior to departure. (In order to keep price as low as possible, credit cards are not accepted.)   

REMEMBER: APPLICATIONS ARE INITIATED ON LINE. ONCE COMPLETED, AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO YOU. PLEASE PRINT AND SIGN THE APPLICATION PAGE AND MAIL IT WITH YOUR DEPOSIT CHECK TO THE ADDRESS INDICATED ON THE FORM.  WHEN RECEIVED BY TravelEd, A SECOND EMAIL WILL BE SENT CONFIRMING YOUR STUDENT’S REGISTRATION. BE SURE TO READ THE BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS SECTION ON OUR WEBSITE. PLEASE NOTE: FEDEX WILL NOT DELIVER TO A POST OFFICE BOX.

SPECIAL CLASSES: One of the primary factors that make our tours so successful is the special class(es) conducted prior to departure. The classes deal with different aspects of the trip and will help the students more fully appreciate everything they will see and do. Sessions cover topics ranging from government and law to photography and travel tips. The class(es) will be held after school in the weeks prior to departure (classes may be virtual). Student attendance is mandatory.

INSURANCE: Students are required to show proof of medical/accident insurance as part of registration. 

We encourage you to consider purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance especially if your student participates in any type of club sports activity. While we do not endorse any particular company, we have heard from parents in the past that the following companies offer a variety of policies including “Cancel For Any Reason” :

Note: Most insurance companies require you purchase soon after your deposit is made.

RESPONSIBILITY: It is hereby understood by all participants that TravelEd, its chaperons and/or agents, are agents for the purpose of writing tickets for transportation and making arrangements for tours, lodging, and accommodations and supervision only and we are not liable for any and all claims, suits, actions, delays, flight cancellations, inconveniences, strikes, wars, injury or any other expenses of any kind or nature caused by the tickets or arising out of their issuance for travel, transportation, baggage handling or any other type of difficulty stemming from participation in this trip not caused by the gross negligence of the aforementioned parties. Participants are required to provide a completed Medical Release/Discipline form and proof of medical insurance.  Parents agree to assume responsibility and care of their student should they require additional services, medical attention or must be quarantined.

TravelEd is registered with the California Seller of Travel Program.

REFUNDS: The following Cancellation and Refund Policies will apply if you need to cancel your reservation:
Cancellations 90 days or more prior to departure – $150 cancellation fee.
Cancellations 89-64 days prior to departure – $500 cancellation fee                                                         Cancellations 63-16 days prior to departure – $1,400 cancellation fee.                                                     Cancellations 15 days or less prior to departure – No Refund

CANCELLATION BY TravelEd –
All trips are dependent upon a minimum number of participants.  If that minimum is not reached by 64 days prior to departure, TravelEd will cancel the trip and refund all monies on deposit.

If health or safety circumstances warrant cancellation 64 days or less prior to departure refunds may be comprised of a combination of cash, and your student’s airline ticket or travel voucher.  (Cancellation Insurance, if purchased, may cover the cost of the airline ticket)
