REFUNDS<\/strong>: We are keenly aware of the potential for unanticipated issues that can\u00a0 arise prior to departure.\u00a0 At the same time we are faced with some contractual deadlines for non-refundable payments to airlines, hotels, and other service providers.\u00a0 Based on that, the following Cancellation and Refund Policies will apply if you need to cancel your reservation:
Cancellations 90 days or more prior to departure \u2013 $150 cancellation fee.
Cancellations 89-64 days prior to departure \u2013 $500 cancellation fee\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Cancellations 63-16 days prior to departure \u2013 $1,400 cancellation fee.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Cancellations 15 days or less prior to departure – No Refund<\/p>

CANCELLATION BY TravelEd \u2013 <\/strong>All trips are dependent upon a minimum number of participants.\u00a0 If that minimum is not reached by 64 days prior to departure, TravelEd will cancel the trip and refund all monies on deposit.\u00a0 If circumstances warrant cancellation 64 days or less prior to departure refunds may be comprised of a combination of cash, and your student\u2019s airline ticket or travel voucher.\u00a0 (Cancellation Insurance, if purchased, may cover the cost of the airline ticket)<\/p>

We strongly encourage you to consider purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance especially if your student participates in any club sport.<\/strong> While we do not endorse any particular company, we have heard from parents in the past that the following companies offer a variety of policies including “Cancel For Any Reason” .\u00a0 Travel Insured International specializes in student groups and has set up programs through our partner – Grandview Tour and Travel\u00a0<\/em> for each of our groups.
